Our Story

In the of Summer 2020, the world witnessed what happens when the screams of the marginalized are ignored for far too long. For many of us, the story was all too familiar, but out of the darkness always comes light.

The August Light was created as a podcast and luxury candle company and over time evolved into a story about hope, tribulations, and all the moments in between. We all have a story and as a natural born creative, storyteller, and actress, our founder Asa A. Stallings, is using her voice, creativity, and life to tell authentic stories through fragrance and art that inspires, educates and brings light to life's darkest moments.
